For Balteau NDT SA, member of the Sonatest Group, represented in Russia, SPb, by Ultratest, O.Kozulin, it has been a priority to take part to this year exhibition. Knowing the high level of the NDT Field in this country, we can see that our range of products is well adopted to all main national parts of economy such as oil&gas and shipyard industry, for example. I have been impressed by the interest of many visitors, as well as by the beauty of the city. We are looking forward to contribute to the Russian NDT life through our Distributor, providing services and modern products with high quality standard.

Sonatest is very pleased and happy to be associated with Ultratest and to have taken part in the Defectoscopy 2001 exhibition. Ultratest has been able to show our new range of thickness gauges and flaw detectors along with Sonatest X-ray equipment by Balteau NDT. Sonatest PLC has recently acquired Balteau NDT and Dakota Instruments of the USA, enlarging further Sonatest expertise of which Ultratest has access to. Sonatest has been very impressed with the high numbers of visitors to the Defectoscopy 2001 exhibition along with the high level of NDT knowledge and understanding of the visiting engineers. Sonatest looks forward to a long and happy relationship with our Russian colleagues.

    Zetec
Having entered the Russian market in December 2000, I am encouraged by the level of activity and progress. We are very pleased with the work of our Zetec representative Pergam and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship. I feel we are at the beginning of a long growth trend for NDT in Russia and as such Zetec is prepared to invest time and money to explore these opportunities. Zetec has for many years been the benchmark in the nuclear inspection industry and is now making inroads in aerospace, component test and the industrial segment. Zetec international sales are on the increase and we look forward to supplying our current and future Russian customers with quality products and service support.
