The X JUBILEE INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITION 'DEFECTOSCOPY-2009' will be held under the auspices of the Russian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics, the European Federation of Non-Destructive Testing (EFNDT) and the International Committee for Non-Destructive Testing (ICNDT). The organizers of the exhibition are RESTEC Exhibition Group and the NDT World Review.

Since 1999 the Exhibition has established a reputation as the event where NDT professionals from many countries all over the world can meet, exchange opinions and discuss NDT and TD problems. The Exhibition is a unique place for manufacturers to find customers and for visitors to get an idea of latest achievements and developments in the NDT field.

In 2007 and 2008 the Exhibition was held in Russian regions (in Perm and Tomsk relatively) and proved to be a great success. Regional professionals who could not visit Moscow and Saint Petersburg very often were given an opportunity to come closer to the latest technologies and equipment in the field of NDT and TD.

The X Jubilee Exhibition will again be held in Saint Petersburg. As usual, leading NDT manufactures from Russia, CIS countries, Germany, United Kingdom and others will present their recent developments for all NDT and TD methods.

Which is new for this Jubilee Exhibition is a 'test-drive' for NDT and TD equipment. Every exhibitor will be given a chance to demonstrate its product in operation and carry out a 'test-drive' on a real object (for example, on a weld, sheet, etc.). Visitors will have an opportunity to try out the equipment in practice and estimate its technical and performance data. Test-drives will demonstrate equipment for ultrasonic, eddy current, thermal, optical, acoustic emission, magnetic particle and liquid penetrate methods of NDT and TD.

The 'test-drive' schedule will be published in the June issue of the NDT WORLD Review.

Visitors will be presented equipment for every NDT type:
- acoustic emission/acoustic examination ;
- vibration/mechanical examination;
- visual/optical examination;
- eddy current/electromagnetic examination;
- infrared/thermal examination;
- liquid penetrant inspection;
- magnetic examination;
- magnetic particle inspection;
- radiation examination;
- leak detection;
- Ultrasonic examination.

Every year the Exhibition is accompanied with informative and multy-aspect business program. The Jubilee Exhibition will not be an exception; moreover, the program promises to be a real surprise for both exhibitors and visitors.
