About us In 2008 the 'NDT World Review' (founded by the Sven Ltd.) celebrated its 10-year anniversary. For the contemporary history this age is quite considerable; and it seems customary on such a date to sum up the results and make plans for the future. As for the results, for the past ten years the number of our subscribers has confidently overstepped a thousand. Most of them are regular, it is pleasant. It is doubly pleasant that our subscribers recommend the 'NDT World Review' to their colleagues and business partners. It means that our 10-year work has not been useless and we have managed to make the Review interesting and helpful for NDT professionals. The Review is not the only edition of our team. We publish a line of technical handbooks, 'Buyers' Guide', 'NDT World Library' books. Some editions have already appeared in print, among them 'Ultrasonic Testing Guide', some books of 'NDT World Library' and two issues of 'Buyers' Guide'. In addition, since 1999 the 'NDT World Review' has been an ideologist and co-organizer of the International Specialized 'Defectoscopy' Exhibition, which every year calls together leading Russian and foreign NDT professionals. There is no doubt that our success could not be achieved without - our authors: heads of NDT departments of big Russian industrial enterprises, technical professionals of NDT instruments designing companies, heads of supervising authorities, scientific associates of research institutes, - all of those people who are ready to share their knowledge and experience on solving problems of non-destructive testing and industrial safety guaranteeing, - our Technical Committee, - our Editorial Board, - and of course our Chief Editor Mr. Gourvitch. We are planning for the nearest future: to publish 'Radiation Inspection Guide' and a two-volume thermography book by V. P. Vavilov; to hold the X Jubilee Specialized 'Defectoscopy' Exhibition and - to go on working...
